What they did by doing that is they allowed water to enter the stringers once that metal rusted. Look at my videos, you'll see how bad the stringers were. On top that, where they made holes to spray in that foam was not sealed, so there was a natural entry point for the water. A couple easy changes woulda made it an absolutely fantastic boat. Went through and watched your videos today. Man that's a lot of work. Have you been keeping up with material cost? Also, what do you plan to do with the gel coat? Are you going to tackle the restoration yourself or outsource it to a professional?

I'm leaning towards restoring the trailer and of course going to rebuild the motor, thinking the boat hull may get loaded with tannerite and blown into a million small pieces
