So from part one of "did I find something" you may have seen that I found some bad things on the carburetor, namely broken off bolts. Of course no I gotta break into the carbs and take a look see. After all, the motor was running like garbage, and problems with the carbs might splain stuff.

I open the first carbs float bowl (there are four carbs), and lookie the garbage in it.

Now I gotta clean everthing, and whilst I wait for rebuild kits from the Amazonians, I try to remove the jets. I got two jets off, and two are stuck like heck. What would you do. I'm thinking I just spray the heck out if the jets from both sides with brake clean and try to run it. Hate to have to drill them out, but if I have to I will. The other one I tried to remove looks even worse! embarrassed to show it! But the little hole in it is fine, and I think the brake clean will clean out all the other little holes in that pipe above the jet just fine too. I clean everything with Brake clean, love the stuff.
