I partly reassembled the transfer case to get it out of the way so I could deal with the headliner. The transfer case is ready, but just have to seal it up. I don;t want to finalize it till I'm ready to reinstall everything. Who knows, maybe I want to change something up. we'll see
The headliner has been cleaned. Waiting for wifey to go to Michaels and get some material. So that should get some this weekend.
I took the door panels off for rust checking and rust proofing.
These doors look absolutely great. No rust. There was no rust on the roof when I removed the headliner, so that was cool. Essentially it just looks like the floor rust is my only rust issue. I still have time before I address it as I want to get it into the garage for de-humidification. I run a dehumidifier 24/7 in the garage, well just because, Florida, you know.
I'm really digging this project. The boat project was way cool too. I love seeing how it's all engineered and put together. Jeeps seem cool. I love that the screws are all visible and easy to access. Look at the door panel if you look close there are no caps on the Philips heads screws. Made for a mechanic, not an artsy fartsy designer. lol
