Well I just heard from my friend that they have already got his motor fixed and running already. They said they drilled the motor transom holes and bolted it down this time for him. When we found the motor it was in reverse I don't think he hit something I thing he reversed it while running wide open but who knows. He said it cost him less than $200.00 for the boat motor mechanic to get it fixed and back to running. Motor was under water about 10 to 11 days. Here is a picture of it when we got it up and back in his boat. All I can say is he was really lucky as this motor cost close to $5000.00 new and it had less than 3 hours on it. I would like to say again if your motor is not bolted through the transom do it before you take it back out again the little motor clamps will not hold it if something happens.
