The one piece of advice I will offer is once you are up and running and get it out on the water would be to make some recordings to play back at home to see how the settings work on your own water and water conditions. It really helped me to see how it all works and to really tweak the settings to get better performance on the next trip out. I like to keep them around 10 minutes or so max.
Okay, that went way over my head. Are you saying I can record what's shown on the screen, pull the unit off the boat and power it up while sitting in my house and go back through what was recorded?
