Thread: Humminbird helix 7 chirp si g2 advice

Just installed my new helix and took it out for a test run today. Seems to have some surface interference on down and side imaging and I'm sure it's from the motor cause I noticed it mainly on the left side from SI. Any advice on what I need to do to clear the images up besides moving it? I'm new to this as well but fairly good at learning the controls of it.

It's possible this may be caused from the Sharpness gremlin reported in many models ...

*Press Menu 1 time to get into the SI (or DI) Xpress Menu ...
*Cursor down to the Enhance Menu ...
*Cursor right to open the Enhance Menu ...
*Verify Sharpness is off ...
