Default Mega bug or operator issue?

Bought a new helix 9 took it out for its maiden run. Impressed with detail of down imaging and side imaging..problem is when I run all it screen with down imaging I lose the right side of my side imaging. Doesn't matter if it with all screens or just split and down. What's strange is it works great by itself or with sonar. And another thing if I put the split screen on the left side of unit then ride side will be fine. Anyone hear of this or do I have something screwed up? Thanks for your help...shortdraw

If the SI looks like this ... It's the Sharpness gremlin ...

If you can see the bottom detail but it's noticeably darker - it can be blockage from the lower unit like Bassin mentions ...

I would assume HB is working on a fix ...

It's being reported on a few forums ...

You should call HB and report it yourself also ...

Just got off phone with hb..talked to Julie she said that she had not heard of this issue but when she tried her unit she was able to duplicate the situation. She was going to do some investigating and find out if it is a software or hardware issue. She said she would notify me upon finding out. Wait and see what happens now.
