    HELIX 5 AT TROLLER.......HELIX 7 AT CONSLE BOTH READ 7 FT. WHEN WE CANT REACH LAKE BOTTOM W/7FT.ROD IN HAND? WHAT CAN BE DONE TO CALIBRATE? THANKS....

    I can understand the transducer at the trolling motor being off by a couple of feet, because it is down at the bottom of TM. Transom unit should be pretty close, I would think......only off by a foot? I think there is a "depth offset" feature you might try to look up

    Check your manual on how to adjust "keel offset". This setting is to compensate for the distance the transducer is below the surface of the water.
    I am assuming your units have this adjustment like Lowrance does.

    *Press Menu twice to get into the Main Menu System ...
    *Cursor over to the Setup tab ...
    *Cursor down to "Depth Offset" ...
    *Cursor to change the value + for how deep the xducer is in the water (adds depth value to the digital depth reading) ...
