Default Hummingbird HELIX vs Lowrance re: TrackBack Feature

Comparing the Humminbird and Lowrance products I see that Lowrance has the trackback feature that allows you to historically go back and pinpoint a piece of structure you went past to mark a waypoint. Does Humminbird's HELIX have a similar capability I am overlooking?

    Thank you.

Yes you can. If you make a recording you can play it back in your driveway and set waypoints. You can even do it on the computer at home if you wanted to.

I think the OP is talking about going back in the Sonar history during live scanning ...
    ----
    ----

HELIX and core HB units only allow manipulation of the data that is currently on the screen ...

So as long as a return is still in the screen you can use the cursor and mark it? Does the hb stop the scroll in cursor mode so u can mark stuff?

    Correct ...

As long as the POI (point of interest) is still on the screen ... A waypoint can be placed on that POI ...
    -----

Also correct ... The screen scroll freezes when the cursor is activated ...
