I read on another site that the Helix 7 DI did not have 800khz capability. Does anyone know if this is true? Looking at it for a bow mount but really would like the HD feature. Anyone know?

Old enough to know better and way too old to care!
All of the HB DI models have the capability of 200kHz/455kHz 2d and 455kHz/800kHz DI ...(they are all shipped with the same XNT 9 DI T) ...
The larger HB DI models (800/900/1100) can also use the XTM 9 WIDE DI 20 T at 83kHz/200kHz 2d and 455kHz/800kHz DI ...

sorry, where I live the fishing season is about over. All the lakes close to me are closed for waterfowl. I have only used my Helix 7 two times, haven't had it very long. If I find some structure I want to take a closer look at, I click on it it, arrow the indicator to spot, and zoom. It get very blurry and really doesn't help. I read in another post somewhere that was an issue, but it was too late mine was ordered and paid for
It's normal for the zoom to not be as clear as the normal size ...
This is simply because the unit cannot add new data to the zoom box pixels info ...but merely takes the color of a individual pixel (in the normal view) and copies itself several times in its adjacent pixels ...
That's not to say that your issue may not be an anomaly I'm not aware of ...
Can you run the simulator and capture screenshots of an open zoom box for analysis here ... ??
