RICKIE,just a thought that I just thanked. What u thank, a 360 pod ,rotated90° and set in the isolated mold at a 45°,pointed downward would produce? (In theory,it should show structure and the fish movements in and around the structure. All without the need for the boat to be moving)???

I thank some more.the pod doesn't need to be rotated a full 90°,but would need to be mounted were as,it could be adjusted as needed for best results.

Here's an example. In this shot, the 360 is set to osolate, back and forth (like a winshield wiper,on a car).the 360 scanned the structure, out in front of the boat.then I moved the boat over the structure to get the 2d/di view.If the 360 was rotated were that same isolated view were to be focued straight down, while sitting on top of that structure, I believe it would produce a continuous updated view of the structure, without the boat moving.

Not only will that setup find fish, with that many transducers, it will also do lithotripsy on a kidney stone. I like it.

If those were on at once the fish would think they were being machine gunned. Ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, ping, ping

Slick Rickie. That much stuff would make my boat do a nose dive.
