    Default finding coordinates

when you have a waypoint or have input a coordinate someone has given you, how do you get back to it when actually on the water. I have a Lowrance gen2 7 with side scan, down imaging, and sonar.

You first input the coordinates on your DF and name it whatever you deem appropriate, like MacksBP for Mack's brush pile. Once it is stored on you DF you select "go to" in the navigation menu and it brings up all the waypoints you've saved. You cursor down to the one you want and select it.
The DF will set up a path for you to follow. Keep in mine it will be a straight line so you may have to maneuver around islands, trees, etc. but it will take you right to your waypoint.
