    Unfortunately HB will not give me the proprietary info of how they determine what core works best in HB units ...

    I've asked ... Because I wanted to learn more about ferrite cores and eventually make that discussion a Sonar Quiz ...

    They will only tell me this ...:

    Each noise case is different. There is no one size fits all when it comes to ferrite beads. Utube has some good videos on ferried beads, ferrite material selection and etc. It is all about Mu.

    Good. Some people know more the I do. I user an o'scope to see if the cores have any effect. If not, I change Mu.
