    Default Lowrance sonar viewer question

I went out yesterday and did some sonar recording for the first time with my Lowrance HDS. Saw a lot of really neat stuff but forgot to take some screenshots. Anyway, I came back home and downloaded the Lowrance Sonar Viewer program on my computer and started watching my recordings.
I thought that I would be able to mark waypoints from the Viewer but I could not find anyway to do so. Does anyone know if this is possible or not? Perhaps it is possible from a different program.

It's just for viewing. Check out the reef master pro program.typu cam do all that and more. Here are some pic the we're created by recording sonar logs inputting that info into reef master then creating contour map then exporting it to sd. So it can be displayed on my hds 7 touch. 3d images can only be viewed on the program. Name: uploadfromtaptalk1425237787831.jpg

You should be able to view the recordings on the unit itself and mark waypoints there.

Paul, it's a neat tool you can download to your computer and look at all of the sonar logs that you recorded on your SD card in your Lowrance unit. It's kinda complicated to explain here. I would suggest you purchase a.dvd.from Dr. Sonar explaining the many features of the HDS. the owners manual just scratches the surface.
