    I'll let you decide ...

    I use 455kHz for finding new structure out to the sides of the displayed image ...

    I use 800kHz for scanning closer to the boat because of the extra detail in the 800kHz image ...

    As the DI in the HB SI units is a computer generated DI image from the SI data ... I don't use the HB "DI from SI" very often ... ("DI from SI" just doesn't compare to dedicated DI) ...

    Maybe someone else has some HB "DI from SI" comparisons they could share ...
