I'd like a link to the books as well please.

Will this be helpful for Humminbird units too?

Looks like a great book series. I looked around but couldn't find out if the information in the books would be helpful to Humminbird users. It looks like probably more than half of the book is on the sonar and the technology which would be useful to any sonar user but it says it covers Lowrance units set up so I am assuming that the other less than half the book is Lowrance stuff and of no use to Humminbird users so I'll wait to buy and see if it helps Humminbird users too. Especially since his new book is $30.

    Hi kickingback,
The sonar principles remain the same with Garmin, Raymarine, Lowrance and Humminbird, but the book is based on the Lowrance range, including Elite, HDS Gen2 and the latest Gen3.

I downloaded John's new book yesterday. I have already started reading it and using the You Tube videos that the book links to.

    Great book, John...
