Default Questions for experienced SI/DI users

I had something happen yesterday and not sure what is going on. Take a look at the picture. The SI on top is accurate--44' deep with a shot of an old roadbed. My question is why does the DI/2D show the image as only being down five feet? I've been taking screenshots for a month now and have not seen this happen before. Just curious if any of you guys have ever seen something similar.

Just looking at the three images, it appears to me that the SI image is being used to cipher up a DI & 2d image. Even the 2d image looks like it's just a color rendering of the DI image of the rolling hills (peaks/valleys) effect.

It appears as though the unit is only using the SI portion of the transducer to produce the images, even though the DI & 2d screens are showing their respective kHz readings. Could there be a transducer setting that isn't "on" ... that would separate the kHz pings ??

Had a simular issue when I was taking off out of really shallow water. Once I got out into 20 FOW and set still the unit corrected itself.

It looks like you are getting tripple and almost quadruple returns on the 2D. It looks like the 2D sensitivity may be way too high for the bottom composition and depth.
