    1. How tall and how deep are these poles and how did you determine that?
    2. How deep and where are fish around lower pole?
    3. Can you point out fish outside water column?
    4. How the heck do you get them to bite?

    1. It looks like you were in 27.2 ft of water and the poles are 3/4 of the depth so around 20' tall. Just look at your depth and gauge the dark area from the bottom of boat to object and you have your distance.
2., 3., and 4. Those specks around the pole near hump could be fish but to be certain you would need to drop a lure to the depth you see them at or just above and slowly lower a foot at a time until you get a bite. Or start at bottom and work your way up. Try all around the pole and near the hump. It looks like a good spot for them to hang out.

Try the shadow measuring tool in the Utilities button ...

You can see where the shadow meets the bottom of the pole ...

The poles don't reach the water surface and are off to the left side some distance.... having trouble with my trigonometry and visualizing. The shadow length doesn't tell me how tall, how close to surface or how far to the side, or if they are straight up and down does it??? Think I will go back over them and look on 2d or downscan and see if I can learn what I am seeing

The shadow measuring tool in Humviewer is supposed to estimate any structure's height by measuring the shadow it creates ...

It will not tell you how deep the top of the pole is under the water ...but it should calculate for you how tall the pole is off the bottom ...

And then estimate the depth to the top of the pole ...by subtractng the Humviewer estimated pole height from the water depth ...

The poles are 9 feet away from transducer and over to the side, but they are not 9 feet from top, some less and could be up to top of water, depends on how far to one side u were from poles, and u have fish on lower pole, I would use a jig.it
Also appear that there are fish on right side outside water colum around the logs

If you run a split screen with DI and SI on top of each other, all your questions are easily answered except the last one! I don't think
any electronic package, yet developed can tell you how to make them bite!
