Thread: Swing arm extension for ram mount

Got a 1159ci hd di unit and got a ram mount. I have not mounted yet. Looking at possibly mounting on the right side of the boat, and I sit on the left side. 2 seats up front. Trolling motor in center left and pulls straight back. Thinking may mount unit on ram mount on right side and swing it toward the center off of ram mount on an extension arm. Saw some on amazon 8-1/2 and 10-1/2" long, but the ball was only 1". Need larger ball to fit on ram mount. Any ideas. pictures
