Have you calibrated the screen. If not it will help out a lot hard to believe but just fixing where u push the button helps a lot of stuff

Couple times yesterday my new Touch 7 froze for roughly a minute each time. Also had some smaller pauses that wouldn't allow me to go from side to down image. Is this normal?
Also I took this yesterday learning to use the SI. Are the bright white spots fish?
I will say the DI on this unit smokes the Hbird I had on before it.

No, freezing is not normal and you have some serious side imaging blockage going on there. Unless you were in top of a hump you should have had no black out in that pic.
Yes those white things are fish.
As said I would imagine that freezing is not nornal. Fully charged battery?
Yes, dots in the black section are in the water column under the boat.
The default tanish color palette works best for me. That green is horrible.
Also as said in that depth water and on 455 you should see detail all the way out to 80'.
Post a pic but most likely it needs to drop.
I have more screen shots just have to wait on the computer to get back to put them up. Still had a couple instances that it seemed like the processor struggled to keep up.
Well do you feel like they are better now?
To me I wouldn't have known much was wrong the first time. I am just trying to get folks with experience to chime in so I know what normal looks like. Heck I don't even know what the circles in the side imaging pic are.
