Yes, down view is included with my 70DV. Black box is for SI and chirp.

I'm going to adjust what I do based on your reply.
I've been only using one rod and I got to change that.
I have a pretty old ff up front, no GPS, no downscan, just 2d.

Do you ever motor over brush to look at it from the wheel?
I do that if it's deep enough.
Got hds 9 at the wheel.

Brett I do motor over it at times, usually if it's only one bed and in deep water. If there are several beds close I usually use the tm.
