Default Problems with full screen si view

I have a 598 si that i am no expert on using .I know the first time i played with it i had a screen where i could see the screen with the full right and left side veiw or look at either the full screen left or right side.I guess i messed with some of the settings and now the only veiw i can get to is the SI on the bottom and DI on the top.any ideas on what settings i changed and how can i get that veiw back?

Reset it to default and start over.

You might save that link Bill provided for future reference....

Once you Restore Defaults on the unit...it will help your efficiency in operating the unit if you hide all the views in the unit that you would never use...

Pressing Menu twice will open the main tabbed menu of the unit...

The second tab from the right is the "Views" tab...this is a "Rolodex type" list of all the display view combinations available in the unit...

Go thru the available views under the "Views" tab and make "Hidden" all the views that you would never use...this will, in effect make the "Rolodex type" list of views smaller (during regular operation) so that it will take fewer button presses to get to the view that you would want to see at any time during the unit operation...

Then Exit out of the main tabbed menu and cycle thru the views....(pressing the "View" button repeatedly will cycle "forward" thru the "Rolodex" of "Visable" views...pressing the "Exit" button repeatedly will cycle "backwards" thru the "Rolodex" of "Visable" views...

The fewer button presses it takes to effectly operate the unit during your fishing day...the more time you can actually spend fishing...instead of making unnecessary button presses...

No, resetting the unit to the factory settings only makes changes to the menu settings - not to any waypoints, routes or tracks you may have in the unit.
