I think we all can agree on a couple of points about 360°...
1. This technology is still in it's infancy....
2. There is valuable information being garnered in areas around the boat never before obtainable in any consumer-targeted technology...
Most any opinion/discussion of 360° (positive or negative)...can defer to 1 or both of those points...

hay there feller.have a little patience.im trying to help you an others here. Its not my fault that lowrance doesnt have any pictures of a boat sittng still while scanning 360° im just showing what my humminbird doing to give you an other an ideal of how sitting still or moving forwward while scanning all the way round can be helpful.if you will just be patient lowrance will get there version of 360 going and that ahould force humminbird to come down on there price of the 360 when theres a competitor for them.imo, the 360 is the best fishing tool that been made availible to fishermen since hummibird came out wth side imaging.youall have to get the spotlight and give it a try for yourself to see what im talling about.once you get one and figer out how to use it youall quit running over your structure before you get a chance to fish it.
(and stop being so sensitive)![]()
the lowrance demo I saw showed so many fish around the boat, the fisherman had to drop down battery cables on the bow AND the stern !
Stumpsaome stumps and some man made

Won't be no spotlight or ultrasound unit aboard my boat ... I'm still getting the good out of my Elite 5DSI !! (and I've yet to begin to fully utilize the capabilities IT has)
I've never been one of those "keep up with the Joneses" kinda people, or having to have the latest/greatest "thing" (even when I could afford it). And even if/when I can afford it ... it don't mean that I have to have it
To quote my Dad .... "You don't miss what you ain't had"

Sounds like there will be info out midweek. We'll just have to wait and see. Lowrance is certainly the first to provide consumer sonar, as well as Chirp. No screen shots will change that.
