Rickie, my HB came with 5.840 and had great images, but when I went with the external GPS Precision Module I had to update to 6.610. That's when the trouble started. I ended up with the 6.640 which was just as bad.

Have been waiting for a fix since May 10th. I finally gave up.

Thanks for all your help on both HB and Lowrance.

I am relying on a Touch 7 & Garmin 50s now but Gene's HB 998 still has the best SI/DI that I have seen so far.

I know my friend Kosmo will like that.

Rickie, I hate to say it , but no I sold the HB to one person and the antenna to Shellback.

I thought I had waited long enough for a FIX as the HB Tech Supervisor called it. But no FIX has come yet.

I still have 1 HB on my jon boat.

    Sometimes it does get aggrivating...

If we can ever get lucky enough for the prostaff guys to concur on that there is, in fact something wrong...

I think that is what it will take but I also think it won't come from Doug V. You, Doug, Wayne & Bryan helped me a lot with my Birds and I appreciate it.

I still visit the other board and look at the HB posts. Good bunch of folks over there.

Humminturd, that is pretty funny, or not, given the recent history. I like it though, you are a wordsmith.
