I always keep my latest updated waypoints ran thru HBPC on a separate card with my unit at all times.....

It's not uncommon for me to have to wipe my unit clean...(with all the testing I do of software versions, xducers, etc)...and restart from scratch Deleting the Nav data, Restoring Defaults, reloading the waypoints ...yada yada yada...

If your unit has problems on the water...(whatever the cause)...the easiest way to save your day's fishing trip is to wipe the unit clean and start over....(sometimes even changing to a previous "known stable software version"..so you can reload the version you're using or testing...)

I keep "5" separate SD cards with my unit at all times....

1 with all my latest waypoints ran thru HBPC...
1 with present software version...
1 with previous "known stable version" of software....
1 with saved snapshots and recordings...
1 blank for today's trip...

SD cards are cheap....compared to losing a day's fishing (or testing) ....when the unit wants to "not play nice"...
