To me, echo returns look fuzzier and fuzzier the farther away from the boat it gets...

I think the technology is still in it's infant stage and needs more advances...

I do like the entire image persona tho...looks like a "donut"...

Keep the pix comin kosmo...they are interesting to see...

kosmo...is there an adjustment or a setting on that thing that will make the echo returns not so smeared lookin...??

Maybe a sweep speed or something...??

yes,there's five sweep speeds.slow,fine/fast,standard ,coarse/faster and fastest.in all of the pictures that i have posted in this thread i used the standard setting
