    Lowrance recommends that the LSS transducers be mounted 12-18 inches from motor when mounted on transom. I think this should give you plenty of clearance from the motor.     Thanks for the video link! Are most of you just trimming your motor up while scanning. The clearance I am talking about is not my motor hitting the transducer, but my motor blocking the signal from side to side of the transducer. Seems like a jackplate or just trimming up will work. Thanks for all pics and responses.
