Thread: 6.60 update snapshots

seems like things are a little different now that i've got the new update. i didnt have time today to make many adjustments but so far i not sure if i like the clarity that im getting with the new update. all the pictures are using the 455khz.i didnt have time to try the 800. some are with the si transducer and some are with the 360 pod.so far im having better luck with the si transducer.

Those look great, does 6.60 seem stable? Need to get it installed on mine.

It works but it does have a few gliches in it.thanks for your positive comment but i really dont think that those pictures show what the unit is capable of doing.things are different than before ab ill have to make some adjustments

Doesn't look nearly as good as you usually get. The SI view looks kind of stretched to me.

2d looks pixelated. I just noticed the 2d pixelation today on the water with my 898. I also got a photo of my DI with Enhanced Sharpness = Low with the white artifacts. The photo is not the best but will post tomorrow when I can get on my computer.

Kosmo's SI looks like he had the scroll speed faster than actual speed. I thought my SI was looking real good today. Marked a lot of brush and stuff today.

Stymie,i had my scroll speed set to 9 sensitivity on 2 and contrast set at 14. I no thats some wacky setting.to many electronics on the boat and not enough time.what ever happened to the good old days of the super 60 flasher?

Kosmo, there are no wacky settings. I figure if they gave us settings we are supposed to use them. I know a lot of folks keep contrast at 10 but that doesn't give me the best information at times.

Sorry, I was actually asking about Chart Speed, sometimes I get my wording messed up. English is a second language for some of us Alabamians.

Which photo? The 2d is blotchy/pixelated, whatever you call it. His DI images seem the same pixelated than from what I'm used to on mine but I don't recall seeing that on my unit today.
