This is one of my favorites so far. It shows bass (verified by catching) attacking shad on a creek channel break at Lake of Egypt a power plant cooling lake in southern Illinois. The shad are probably all small threadfin which maintain a population there because of the warm water.
It show bass above the shad diving down and bass below the shad on the break waiting for something to happen. Could they be working as a team, with the bass circling above working in concert with those below? I don't really know. What I do know now is that I am seeing a lot of bass diving down into schools of shad, when I used to think they always came up.

These are 3 images of a point. I am following the shoreline and going over a point, the trees are fallen over into the water. They look small but they are big trees. Sometimes the fish are right at the end of the trees in deep water but not this day. Lots of bass guys fish this point.

Back on Dec 31, 2011 I found a pickup and two cars on and upper creek arm of a lake down here in SE Texas. I contacted the authorities and sent them screen shots of the vehicles. They extracted the truck and one of the cars, the second car was so silted in that they couldn't safely extract it, the divers did say there were no bodies in it though! After running vin numbers and stuff they determined that the 1999 Pontiac was stolen in 2000 and the GMC pickup had been reported stolen in 2005.
The down scan shots are from my HDS 7 and 5, the side scan shots are from my HDS 8. Yeah there was some interferance with my jack plate which has since been corrected.

Hi all.
I am absoulutely amazed at the quality of the pictures that you guys are putting on here so, "thanks!"
I've decided to purchase a replacement for my 1990 eagle..yep, she is an oldie - anyway please make sure
you also post the name of the unit you are using so I can compare capabilities, like what is the minimum speed
these units will work.
Once again thanks much, and stay safe all!
Great idea,I would like to see which unit these images came from also. I am in the market for a new depth/fish finder and this would be a good way for me to pick one out. Thanks
Here are a couple shots I took with my 798ci si. These were taken on the Tenn-Tom waterway. The barge thingy is actually the old ferry that use to service crossings back in the early 1920 era. I think when they shut it down they parked on side the old river channel and left it. This was way prior to the installation on the lock / dams to make it navigable.
