Greg should be checking in Monday or so....

Maybe he has more ideas....I'm at a loss here...

1 thing I may experiment with is trying to find a way to corrupt the .DAT file and see if I can replicate your issue...

Kyrich...you did say that this only occurs on the saved snapshots that you had taken before the update to 6.5....??

Snapshots taken now after the update are ok...??

The second unit has to have the same display size (vertical and horizontal pixel count) for the screen snapshots of one unit to display on another.

That still doesn’t help. That thumbnail even looks messed up as it is showing two images side-by-side which it should not do. Somehow the data has been corrupted...

You can try copying the files to another SD card.
Other than that I don’t know of any options kyrich.

I did another test with .PNG files and .DAT files...

    From my PC,
*I created a folder labled SNAPSHOT
*Into this SNAPSHOT folder I copied one (1) .png file of a certain snapshot and 1 .DAT file from a completely different snapshot...
*I put these on my SD card and inserted into my unit...

It would not display the snapshot or the thumbnail from the Snapshot and Recording view...

This tells me that the associated .DAT file is specifically for the .PNG snapshot it's attached to...

At least you still have .png that can be viewed on the PC....
