SI Sensitivity is the most often used setting on my unit....

I keep the SI Enhance menu up on my SI image any time I am viewing SI....(this allows instant access to the SI Sensitivity without opening other menus that opaque out any other split screen I may be viewing along with the SI...)

As the water depth/bottom composition changes so will the brightness/darkness of the SI image....
