    FT, is everything behind the little boat stuff youve passed by or what?!? Doesnt appear there's anything in the picture on the bottom half of the screen? How is this much different (other than appearance) than side scan?!?

    Yes, so I had spotlock on when taking that picture so boat orientation on the screen isn’t accurate to the image. The bridge ruble was behind me when it took the image, that’s why it casts the shadow like side imaging will do.
    Side scan is a constant “beam”, sending and receiving feedback. 360, operates like radar. The bottom of the transducer is in constant rotation and you set the speed or rate of rotation. The image won’t refresh until the transducer rotates back around.
    Now for longlining I do t set mine for 360*, I adjust it for 180* so I see everything 65-75’ out the front and off the side of the boat.
