Thread: Santee

We are going down to Santee the first week of April. Will be the wife, kids and myself. Where is the best place to stay to get into a mess of crappie. Not really looking for large ones so to speak. Looking for numbers to keep the kids happy.

There is no guarantee on the fish no matter where you go, Carolina King resort offers rentals in Jacks Creek, Poplar Creek Landing offers rentals in Poplar Creek, Bells Marina offers rentals in Eutaw Creek. You get the idea, find a rental that suits you needs, preferably one in a major creek and you will be where the fish should be. Rentals on the water could be hard to come by as this is prime time on Santee Cooper lakes.

Thanks. I got a place at Bell's Marina for the week. I have stayed there before and had decent luck.
