I got them around my house along the old cattle pond. Not pets but they do the pest control along with the black snakes. Time of the year with the cool down they will get out of sight and soon find a place to spend the winter. You got a lot of toads around your house? If so you'll see another most likely. You need to worry about the one Redge posted. That's the one that will put a hurting on you. Be careful.
