Thread: Silver Salmon Move In

These fish have there seasons all mixed up. We should be catching 4 year old fish at the pier heads, but from day to day we don't know what will be there. 3 for 6 on a short evening trip with all younger fish filled with alewife. The alewife are thick in close and the j-plugs and spoons were all working. Silver worked a little better. Not much of a run up river yet, maybe this weekends forecasted rains and winds will drive the fish in. The brown trout were biting off the piers tonight.
