Thread: All bundled up

A extra layer of cloths to stay warm is requred out on the lake now, a bit chilly in the morning. We got stuck going 2 for 9 this morning, a couple of nice fights that just didn't make it into the boat. Winds and waves only allowed for half of our trips to go out this weekend. J-plugs in close, for a few returning salmon.

Came over your way to do some scouting for the salmon run about 2 weeks ago. Just a couple were spotted up by the dams and only seen 5 caught off of the pier. I didn't have any luck myself but it's seems to be a lot like "10,000 casts for muskie" this year. I've had a lot of luck in the past fishing Two Rivers and hope to do the same this year....rain or shine. Would you let me know when they're coming in? I would greatly appreciate that. I have 3 youth anglers that have never caught a salmon.
My son who's hooked on salmon fishing now has spread the word to his buddies on how much fun they are to catch. I would love for them to experience that as well.
