I mentioned in another thread I ordered some Baits from another member. The way I came up with the colors I wanted, goes back into the mid 80's when I first arrived at Ft Hood in TX. One weekend shortly after getting there we went down by the dam on Belton lake. I had a couple lures I had gotten in the mail prior to my last deployment overseas I hadn't tried yet. They like the old Bagley O crank Baits and painted like Rainbow Trout. First cast a 4lb large mouth decided it looked good. Enough for me. I later found out there were no trout known to be in Belton lake. Hmmmm, predator fish didn't care. Crappie are predators fish. So wallah...I ordered up some trout colored Baits. Came to day. Thank you Bob, they look great. Going to get them wet real soon...I will post up how they do, when I do.
