My neighbor has a tree that dropped worms 2 times a year. She cut it down 3 years ago and put an above ground pool in.
Would have been a good trade but she is ugly as sin. This year she did not even use the pool. It became a mosquito hole so I would throw chlorine tablets into it about every other week.

    I miss that tree......

Yea these people put in the pools and not care for them. My son has one. It's hard work 24/7/365.
The trees are enough to worry about if you want to produce worms. Neighborhoods are bad. Is the neighbor or city spraying for insects? Is the tree to big? Anything can knock them out.
