If you like using wax worms and have not tried the Berkley Micro Power Wigglers it is worth a try. They look very much like a wax worm, and, from my experience, they usually produce just as good without having to rebait regularly.
It is not about the equipment you have to use,
It is about how you use the equipment you have. :D

CrappieII (Sandy) told me that's how you rigged hers up. We went out today, I caught the biggest Smallie I ever caught. It was 20" I had no camera and no scales. It was a big female, got to think it was at least 6lbs+

That sounds like a dandy smallie Larry. Was it caught on your panfish rig?

Yes, it was so windy we were trolling into the wind with jigs & UL I got that Bass & Sandy caught a smaller Bass & a little Pike. No Crappie I guess I'll have to make a run to Wixom. lol Is that little camp ground open that was J& J"s?

We fished Taws :LK. a couple times this winter. It's only about 5' deep and weedy as heck, they get some nice fish though-Bluegills & Pike, not sure about Crappie. Wixom is a very big lake, lots of places to fish. I haven't been on it for a few years so can't really tell you much. Catch everything in there.
