Wow, at least you found "something" about them. Yeah, I kinda think they really don't exist. All those are out of stock or just point to ebay with nothing to find to purchase. Thanks for looking.
Ahh here's one.

$75 though (before shipping), and no phone number to verify the site and store is real: So I'm thinking I keep $75 in my pocket and just walk to the back of the boat to raise the talon.
Thanks all
Build your own remote control circuit. I .don't what a talon be.

Take the remote apart and clean the contacts with a soft red rubber pencil eraser. gently. Get me a picture of it. Need to see contact type. The contacts are a major issue on most any remote.

The silver rectangular things on the circuit board in the second pic are the buttons. Nothing to access to clean.
I know a lot of issues with boards the soldering gets a crack or comes undone. Might try reheating solder areas. :dono
Time to get the meter out and test. Forgive me...is the battery good?

On the backside of the circuit board it appears the sottering is missing. Not sure if that would make a difference.
Wowser. I took the circuit board to the boat without the cover and all, just to play with the buttons to see if I could get them to work, and they did. The down always did work, but the up worked, yay. So now I just gotta see why the case is not making good contact. YAY ME. Save some $60-$80 even if I could find one. Thanks for the push to try to clean it all and making me look closer at it y'all. Crappie fishermen are the best.
Awesome. Finding the issue usually is the hard part, finding a solution easier.
Like I said, switches are a big problem. I hate those buble type contacts. Biggest problem with contacts comes from people mashing buttons too hard.

Extend the range of the switch with a small piece of duct tape atop the bubble or on the switch contact.

May take a few layers of the tape.
Well I found my new life quote....it will just cost a little extra
