I was driving home today but I've been every day this week and we've been killing them. The wind is a pain but fishing was great for us. My hands are so sore for cleaning and catching fish. I'll post later tonight about our trip

Yep, caught a limit today, wind and all.
One of our members had one of the best guided drum fishing trips in the history of fishing. I'm not naming any names yet.
Coach you're just mad about me catching them fish when I was on the phone with you lol.

Those aren’t drum but we did catch 10 that really were. We also had one break off and another get off before landing them. I’ve never caught that many pulling jigs. It’s common for me to catch one every couple of trips but not 10 in one trip. I had one that I’m guessing was north of 15 pounds.Quote:

You guarant big fish? Just kidding I catch them pretty regularly. Back in the day before I had a boat we had to fish for what ever was biting at the time. The big drum fight hard and where a lot of fun. Kinda miss the big ones being at Neely Henry dam before the got eaten with fried rice.

Maybe you need to come catch some to restock them with! I started to weigh the biggest one we caught. I'm gonna guess 15-18 lbs. That was one heck of a fight on an 10 foot fiberglass rod. There are plenty in and below Guntersville much bigger than that one.
