The wind is what made me change, don't even try it with the 16s. I use the white poles and have been very very happy with them. If you can cherry pick your days poles don't matter much but on a tough day, whether it be wind or super lite bight or whatever, poles make a huge difference. Price to me has gotten to where it just don't matter, if it works for me and I'm confident in it then I will have it. May have to not take Ms. Tammy out a time or two but thats ok. We spend a lot of change in our sport, some of it not needed, buying what we want, but when you find a pole, a hook, a line, a rig, ect. ect. , you like you go with it. I learn so much each year and I hope and pray I have many more years.
Been on the phone texting with a friend I met fishing tournaments, helping him here, he helps me in the delta and we learn from each other. This aspect of what we do here and on the lake is my favorite part.
Best advice is to get in the boat with someone who has what you are looking at and fish with them, no better way to try em then to slime some up.
