I won a Kimber 1911 TLE/RL 45 cal. Tonight at the Delta Waterfowl banquet. I sponsored the Duck Call auction. They sell 12 duck calls for a chance at the gun, and they give the sponsor number 13 of 13. I won the drawing with number 13!!!!!! They drew numbers until the last man was standing. Congratulations Bill! They should rename you "Mr. Luckey", LOL. First it was an 1,800 Humminbird Talon at the tourney and now a week later a 1,350 pistol!! I'm ready to hit Doe's again, anytime your ready just say the word and we will meet you there. I've been practicing my "crouch and run" in order to make it from the car to the food with minimal chance of gunshot wounds, LOL!

Most don't know, I was an auxillery warrant officer in my youth. And, I liked to carry a .45. One day the chief of police asked to view my weapon. He noticed the dayglo sights I had added and commented on how much I must have had invested. Then he ordered me to file the sights off of it and round every corner off. I thought he had lost his mind and asked him why. He said "somebody is sure to jam it up your _ _ _ someday. It won't hurt so bad when I have to pull it out." My law enforcement career didn't last too long. DP

I've used a Lucky 13 or two!!! Them green carp liked em back in the day. Liked my ole Jitterbugs too.
