just add a hot buttered piece of cornbread and a cold glass of milk.......look good "G"........
That looks really good. Now you going to share recipe?
I will as soon as I write it down.....just made it up as I went. I will post a recipe tonight.
I think I know the sausage brand. Some ham chunks would go in that also.
That looks excellent! Love a good stew like that. Recipe please, bet it's even better left over. Bruce is right, a piece of hot cornbread with that would top it off. Hungry now, thanks for posting.
OK.....Here goes
Tater Stew
1 can of chicken broth
1 can of creamed corn
1 small can of whole kernel corn
1/2 cup of milk
1 small onion chopped.
1 lb. of Conekuh (original) smoked sausage
2 and 1/2 lbs. of taters peeled and cut up
Slice sausage and brown with onions in skillet before adding to the stew pot
Thanks G. I won't make that when I have company over because I would have to lick the bowl afterwards :). I will be doing that soon but will add some chopped green chilies.
Looks good "G". See what Cappy started.
The reason I haven't posted mine yet is the fact that I've been down with a intestinal virus since Saturday. Today was the first day of real food and not having to stay within 20 foot of the john. So y'all just wait a little longer and I'll show and tell.

Looks good, but me thinks its missing a key ingredient. Cannot have tater soup or stew without a bit of bacon. Just my opinion and my belt will agree, it really sticks to your ribs.

Looks yummy! I'm going to make it and add some fresh caught blue crab meat.
Mmm mmm yummy!

Whoa! Excellent Ginny, I like a lot. I'd lick the bowl for sure, regardless if we had company.
