So drove the explorer today--went to get in it this morning-rear passenger window busted out (neighbor mowing I think) left work today it wouldn't shift out of second gear got home wont to into reverse. No fishing this weekend-it just keeps on coming:mad:

Tks all--yep firsy thought tranny is gone-but then maybe its just a bad shift solenoid. Heck dern thing dont even have a dipstick its 100% sealed up

May be cheaper trying to pull a parts yard complete trans and replace. Did this with our old bronco II about every two years. I'm a ford guy, but dang they have some trans problems.

I pushed a lawnmower around and filled with gas. I pulled the lever to unlock the flywheel and the cable snapped. I moved some stuff to get to the other mower, pushed it around, filled with gas. Pulled the lever and it cranked on the first pull. Pulled the lever for self propelled and it snapped. They are heavy to push. I'd make 4 paths and dump the bag into the wheel barrow. When it was full I quite.
I did order parts before taking a shower. Then off to keep the granddaughters.
