Finding another tip to work would require one with the same diameter. Even doing so you would not find it to be the same action in my opinion. Wish you well in which ever direction you decide to go......Ranger
Hmmm, sounds like an opportunity to get another "fissen po" Tell Momma you NEED to go to Tulsa and get a part for your "John Deer" The "Bretheren Protection Service" (BPS for short):yikes in Broken Arrow has need for a consultation meeting and you need to go this weekend. Pickup a "tightline special" Crappie Maxx:biggrin 12 footer for $49.99 for jerkin them slab sac au lait outa Pine Creek and Little River. Tie a piece of ribbon to the tip and it makes a good cattle prod. Momma "might buy that" :hatchet:then again she may not. Just tryin to hep my good man.:Rofl:twocents
Should I take that money and spend it on new rod " never to fond of it anyway" If so what do you suggest I replace it with. Only other long rod I have is a 10 ft. 8-12lb 3/8- 3/4 oz made by Lip Ripper. Like it.
Depends on what you are looking for in a rod Kent. If it's brush your going to fish and need to turn some heads a med to med heavy rod is what I would be looking at. If it's dipping trees and swimming baits around standing trees and structure I would go with a med or med light action rod. I can say in own 4 Ozark Heavy Jigging Poles and they are somewhere in the med action to med light action rod. They have a lot of graphite and glass I. Them and work well for my business, and I use them for throwing a cork and jig. But when it comes to rod in hand it's a Huckabee for me. It just depends on what you want and everyone out here has their favorite and you could and will get 50 different opinions.....Ranger
Take the $23 and buy new rod.
Check with B&M.
You can order a new rod tip from BnM. About half the cost of a new rod. That is why I like there rods.
Most of you guys are well aware that I am dealing with my own rod demons right now but when I lose a tip, I take the eyes off and the rod takes a dumpster dive. They never feel the same with a repaired tip.

I know everyone is into the Bonehead rods right now, and I'm sure they are worth the $100 bucks. I would like to encourage people to look at the ProAngler rods. They are half the price of the Bonehead rods and they are very good. I've used an 8' and a 10' for some time now and I find them to work extremely well for me. At Keystone, I hung the tip of my 8 footer in a tree and bent it 180 before I noticed. It finally snapped. When I got home I sent an email and had a replacement tip in two days. Cost was $17 with free shipping. It felt like a new rod. In that price range I don't think you can go wrong. Check out their video of swinging a big Crappie with the 8 footer (will your rod do this? on their site.)

Ikeni is on the money! I own 6 of the pro angler rods, 8,10,12 footers they are great rods! Use the 10, 12 every weekend this time of year.
x3 on Pro Angler Rods. Wife bought me my dock shooter from there as a gift two years back. That little rod is awesome. When I come back from my break this year from fishing I will be stocking up on more in various sizes. I also buy my red sickle jigs from there.
Back to you.
I went thru the same thing last Fall. Broke the tip of my Ultimate doing something stupid. I spent the money with Grizzly & don't regret it at all. Couldn't stand the thought of throwing that particular rod away. My favorite & have caught hundreds of fish on the thing. I'm ready to start again as soon as the weather breaks.
