I went thru the same thing last Fall. Broke the tip of my Ultimate doing something stupid. I spent the money with Grizzly & don't regret it at all. Couldn't stand the thought of throwing that particular rod away. My favorite & have caught hundreds of fish on the thing. I'm ready to start again as soon as the weather breaks.
