No but welcome to the sight and keep us posted. Where are you from and where is Dubisson?
Welcome to the forum, I don't know where that's at either. I am sure someone here does and will pipe in before long.
Guys, I believe Dubisson Lake is behind the rest area/rec area off I-49 at around the 35 mile-marker - thereabouts, anyway. It never has had much appeal to me - if it wasn't muddy when I saw it, it was swarming with jet-boats. However, I have heard a report or two about someone catching some sacs there.
Bon chance.
Pete
Yes I always caught nice size Sac-a-lait in there. I have trash piles sunk in there in different spots and I catch good during the spawn about 4 inches deep and always on jigs.
I am from Opelousas by the way
Jared , I read it won't be open until the rest area opens. Also if you want go in your profile and type Opelousas in front of Louisiana.
Hey Jared. I am also from Opelousas. Where else do u fish. I am new to sac a lait and was looking for somewhere closer to fish. I fish out of charenton with family.
Welcome Terrance, it's always good to see new members. I hope you find some nice places to fish because they will be turning on soon.
"gene"
Thanks, Looking forward to it.......
Welcome from Port Allen TC.
I'm from Opelousas also. Never had great luck in Dubisson but when I did hook a few they were healthy. After about a dozen tries, I didn't catch the first one until I ran across an old timer that explained, "you got to spider rig 'em to catch in here."
Welcome to the forum Lil Muddy, I'm glad you're here with us. We like pictures.

Right before you get into Krotz Springs there is a levee to the right, take the levee and go down about 100 yds and take the first road to right. once you take the road go down a little ways and it will be on the right
What's the body o water called when u put in at badas bar?
That is called Courtableau Bayou behind badas
What time of year is best for half moon
Half moon and Two O'clock are both bayous with some pits and swamps just south of U.S 190 near Krotz Springs. To access these both of these landings exit 190 at U.S. 71. Go east for Half Moon, West for 2 O'clock.
Tell me more about second lake. I went there once two years ago bream fishing and caught a lot of bream. It looked like a great crappie lake but I never made it back. Fill me in.
It is on the south side of the little road down there, on the west side of the bayou
I used to live about 2 miles out of Washington toward Opelousas
till 1986 and there were some of the best fishing places a man
could ask for in any direction.
