    Default Dubisson Lake


    Does anyone know when Dubisson LAke will reopen. I was told when it first closed for repair that it would reopen in November or early December..

    Guys, I believe Dubisson Lake is behind the rest area/rec area off I-49 at around the 35 mile-marker - thereabouts, anyway. It never has had much appeal to me - if it wasn't muddy when I saw it, it was swarming with jet-boats. However, I have heard a report or two about someone catching some sacs there.

    Yes I always caught nice size Sac-a-lait in there. I have trash piles sunk in there in different spots and I catch good during the spawn about 4 inches deep and always on jigs.

    Hey Jared. I am also from Opelousas. Where else do u fish. I am new to sac a lait and was looking for somewhere closer to fish. I fish out of charenton with family.
