Starting to like that stuff huh? I have loved it ever since I got my first batch. Jigs look good to me and I use this same stuff on a 1/32 Oz Roadrunner.
All I've tried so far are 1/8oz but I'll be checking out a few 1/16oz tonight.
You will know more when you fish them and see how they look then. Only the Pearl is stiff so the others bend back a little making them not quite as full as when first tired. Actually then the color will even show more because you see it bent back a little and your then seeing the materials side more than the ends.
Good job ! I need some of those heads like on the green one , do you pour them ?
Good lookin material and ties in both posts! The last blue n white'n is a staple on the Pearl River where I live. I'd say 80% use either it or black n green chrt tubes. Great work
Look sweet! What is that stuff and where do u get it?
Like others have said. They all look great. I am really liking the Blue and silver one.
Bobo
Lookin' good Vernon. You build some mighty good lookin' jigs for sure.
Thanks everyone for the kind remarks. Hey Bobo, that bottom jig is actually a candy purple head, purple chenille & purple & white hackle. Oh, & purple thread too. LOL.
Vern - if you make up one of the popsical stick and velcro tools you can use it to fluff up the fibers of the krystal chennile that always seem to get rolled over wrapping it in - just go easy when you do it.
I just use a bodkin to fluff just before I tighten the whip finish.
Vern
Simple as this, I use the sticky side and smooth side
